How does a Jane Website work?
You can start a Jane Website from right inside your Jane account under the Integrations tab. Your site is instantly created with personalized pre-written content using Jane's AI website builder, so you're not starting from scratch. From there, you can make edits, update content, add your own photos, and make it feel like yours.
Our team will reach out with the option to book a kickoff call. If you run into questions as you build, our onboarding team is here to help, and when you're ready to launch, we'll walk you through that part too.
How much does a Jane Website cost?
A Jane Website is $59/month. This monthly fee includes hosting, ongoing access to support, and integration with your Jane account.
Is there a setup fee?
Nope, there's no extra setup fee and your subscription only begins when your website is live.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes. You can connect your own custom domain, and we'll help guide you through the setup. If you do not currently own a domain, you will need to register a domain with a 3rd party. We recommend hover.com
How does syncing with Jane work?
Your website pulls key information directly from your Jane account daily. This means your services, practitioners, and contact details stay current without extra manual updates.
The sync does not return data to your Jane account, therefore updating your website does not make any updates or changes in Jane.
Is a website included in my Jane subscription?
A Jane Website is not included in your Jane subscription, it’s a separate add-on with its own monthly fee. It’s designed to work with your Jane account, but you can choose whether or not to sign up.
Can I transfer my previous website over?
We don't offer full content migration, but we're happy to guide you through copying content to your new site.
Are Jane Websites search engine optimization (SEO) friendly?
Yes. Jane Websites are built with SEO best practices in mind. That includes:

Is a Jane Website secure and private?

You'll have access to the same Jane support you know and love. If you run into a question or need a hand, you can reach out by email or book a call for 1-on-1 support from the website team.
Does a Jane Website come with email services?
Jane Websites don't include email hosting, but you can use services like Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 with your custom domain. If you need help setting that up, we can point you in the right direction.

Are Jane Websites compliant with HIPAA and PIPEDA?
Yes. All booking and forms go through your Jane account, which is compliant with HIPAA and PIPEDA standards. Jane Websites don't store personal health information.
How is this different than my Jane Online Booking page?
Your Jane Online Booking page is a great tool for scheduling and managing appointments. A Jane Website gives you space to tell your clinic's story, introduce your practitioners and share helpful info like hours, fees and blog posts.
