To get started, we have two workflows for billing HCAI depending on your clinic’s needs. If your clinic is new or you haven’t started billing to HCAI in Jane yet, we’d recommend the Third-Party Billing workflow. However, for those already using the Block-Billing Workflow, we’ve included that for reference.
Third-Party Workflow
The third-party billing workflow uses multiple policies and policy maximums to represent each MIG block and EHB (Extended Healthcare Benefits) are added after each visit as the primary policy.
Block Billing Workflow
The block-billing workflow uses multiple custom billing codes to represent each MIG Block, and EHB is added at the end of the block.
