Whether you want to look more professional or like you’re floating in outer space, virtual backgrounds are a versatile solution for adding a little spice to your online appointments!

There are a couple places where you can access the Effects menu to change your background.

1. After the pre-call test

Once you click the Begin button to start your Online appointment, you’ll have a chance to run a pre-call test, and after the test, you’ll come to the screen below, where you can change which mic and camera you’re using.

You can click the background icon and then choose one of the pre-existing effects or upload an image of your own to use as a background.

Make sure you click the Apply button to save your changes.

2. During the call

You can also access this menu from within the call, either by hovering on your camera icon and selecting Background effects:

Or by clicking the cogwheel in the upper right corner and choosing Effects from the Settings menu:

Once again, make sure you click the Apply button to save your changes.
