Verified email addresses for both patients and staff within their profiles is a great way to ensure notifications reach the right recipients. Curious about how to do this in Jane? You’re in the right place!
Let’s dive into how to verify email addresses for both staff and patients within your Jane account 🤿
Verifying a Staff Email
To start, the staff member can click on their name in the top right corner of their Jane account and select My Account from the dropdown menu options:
Next, they’ll want to click on Contact Info within the left sidebar menu. From there, they can click on the blue Verify Email Address link and they’re all set!
Verifying a Patient’s Email
To initiate the process, a staff member can head over to the Patient’s Profile and click on the blue Click here text below the patient’s email address. This will send out an email notification, reminding them to verify it.
The patient will receive a link to their email and once they click on the white Confirm Your Email button, the email is verified.
Note 📝: If the patient has not set up their logins to sign into their Jane account just yet, they’ll be prompted to set up a username and password and this will verify their email automatically.
